There's nothing that springs to mind website-wise that I'd recommend, but I *would* recommend "Swim training for Triathletes" as a book (will dig out author tomorrow), which if nothing else contains some truly useful line drawings. I *won't* recommend anything TI, which will probably get me flamed.

Well Greg, I went to to a swimming club for first time on Sunday and wore my beach shorts (normal swim wear for non swim-afleets). Felt like I'd worn clogs to a 10K run!

GregP/Barky - TI: are you referring to Total Immersion? Two of my work colleagues absolutely swear by it, changed their swimming lives completely.
never tried it myself, in your opinion what's wrong with it?

I went for my first proper swim today without kid(s) in tow for 6 years or so and loved it. I even finally sorted out my breast stroke breathing and managed 40 lengths. SPlash splash spalsh

went to a swimming pool in France on hols. they wouldn't let us in cos we had 'bermuda shorts' - only speedo's allowed in indoor public french pools!!
