Chilly night time intervals on frozen grass pitches. Hat and gloves were on.

Had to pause for a toilet visit before starting, got onto the road outside home and was sheet ice. Looked for path that was clear, no chance so aborted run. Went inside for porridge feeling nauseous, half way through it came back up🤢
By then was quite rough and though car was warming up took a decision to call in sick.

Four miles of it with eL Bee!. He hasn't run for months, he's beta-blocked, and he still worked me hard.

Finally got out feeling unwell but….. the road/paths on my little estate still iced up and treacherous. Managed just over a mile , I’ve dug out my old track spikes for tomorrow! The last time I used them was on compacted snow/ice no slipping or sliding 😁

Glad you feeling better @UltraDunc

Well done all those that got out today (or in if on treadmill 😁)

Decided not to risk it today as paths were icy nothing to be gained on the Friday before a Sunday marathon.
Done loads of calf raises

Unsafe Breadbin
Cold, dark, hilly, and snowy / slushy in equal measure. Cleaned my trail shoes which is always a bonus.
