Dark run tonight: 8.2 miles playing hide and seek with a strong WNW wind and some spiteful showers. After touring the Crosby Coastal Park, I got whisked down the beach to the sea wall, then cut inland past the container port. After a similar lap, I trailed it to close by the Baths and finished off, wind assisted, down the cycle track.

Fastest ever 4 miles! OK, it was on a treadmill, but I did have the elevation on. Just over 4 miles in 30minutes.

My twin brother and his partner are staying with us. Partner Deb likes hilly power walks โbut I donโt runโ. The hilly power walks apparently do include running but also have a 30 squat โtopperโ randomly thrown in - so 40 minutes or so of very hilly jog-walking and 100 squats. I feel very alive, which is great
