We have a small, portable aircon unit, our son's room gets up to 30 degrees so although expensive, it's been a godsend.

Looked on Amazon, most fans are in short supply and nearly all unavailable until next week. Small air con unit ordered. Will come in useful in the future. Doggy paddling pool filled for Finn.

Love the heat. Predicted 38 here in Bracknell on Sea. I love the heat so much I am thinking of turning the heating on too.

25 degrees in the house now, 32 degrees and rising outside. Hester is safely tucked away in her outdoor cat cave :-)

29 degrees and climbing here. Air conditioning working hard in the office. All blinds shut. Anything could be happening the other side of the glass.

I've filled a 2 litre milk container with water and put it into the freezer in case it gets unbearably hot tonight.

Also I only have a novelty cat ice cube tray so I'm doing batches and keeping them in another container to get enough. Going to put them in front of the fan later as an experiment.

We’ve been using a single bedsheet as a top sheet on our double bed, I’ve put it in the freezer today as an experiment.

well it hasnt arrived yet but im preparing the house by keeping all the windows and doors and curtains closed during the daytime to retain as much of this cooler air as possible.
