Nice and cool at work - my office windows never catch the sun anyway (north facing into a courtyard with a big tree) and I think there's aircon too. Apparently it's 24.7 at home (inside) according to my hive.
I'm not sure about outside because I've been stuck on conference calls most of the day.
I think tomorrow will be a WFH day because it's the only way I can get my ride done in the morning when it's cooler rather than after work and still make it on to my 9.15am conference call.

That sounds comfortable, GM. Hope you and Stanley are ok! Also Mr GM! Hope he isn't having too much trouble with Covid. Rotten time to get it! He's feeling better today than yesterday, thanks Ness, and I'm still testing negative. It's now 39.5ºc outside (up from 31ºc at 10am) but still 27ºc indoors, so comfortable with the fan on.
The car was showing 45ºc when I popped to the shop half an hour ago. I had a FB memory from 2016 showing it was 38º in the car on that afternoon. I can't remember it having hit the 40s before.

31 degrees at home in Kent, seems odd not to be one of the warmest parts of the UK. My living room is 25 degrees, comfortable enough to sit and do paperwork and watch the marathon in Eugene

It is remarkably hot here: 37.4 in tbe shade outside. My chapel is cool at 23.5 and my herb building not too bad at 25. Outside the warm wind feels and acts like a hair dryer and my non-adapted plants are ahrivelling to a cinder. Yesterday it got to 34 degrees but at night tbings dropped to 9 degrees. Went gardening with my client from 7 am - 10 am. It was cold enough for a fleece at 13 degrees first thing!

Glad things aren't too bad for him, GM. Hope you stay negative. I don't remember 2016 being that hot either!

Those 3 bison in Kent, with their big woolly coats, have picked a nice day to be released into the British countryside.
