29 at most here. Possibly less up the hill where I live (no thermometer). Plenty of cool spots in the house. The dog is in my room with me working because it's teh coolest. Usually likes to lie in a bed in the room with sun coming in the windows. Seeking shade now. Bless.  G

Looks like big fires in London and Kent. Looking at the forecast to work out when (if?) to run tonight, it's warmer at midnight tonight than any point tomorrow. |

40 hectares of fields gone up in smoke here (Bedford) but put out before it reached any houses.
