It was still high 20s when I went to bed last night. 21 this morning. House ventilated and time to settle in for another scorcher.

Ran at 10 last night - little breeze but not especially humid.
6am Windows open, high, white cloud, blue sky peeping through. Warm as you like. BBC site shows 25 deg C but unlikely to exceed 30 all day.

Slightly cooler outside than in so I've opened doors and windows out of the sun. I've put blankets up on windows that don't have curtains to keep the sun out. Slept quite well but already sweaty and grumpy!

Home reading topped out at 37.5 yesterday, and Liverpool airport's reading (about 5 miles away) was 37 so looks pretty consistent.
Was still hotter outside than in when we went to bed, but opened the windows anyway and got a bit of a draught blowing through. It rained heavily in the night for about 5 minutes too.
26deg at Liverpool airport by 8:30am. Expecting 35 by about 2-3pm and then cooling off a little. Happy to wave goodbye to this (for now!)
