Just about survived in Somerset today
I think it went up to 33.
Hopefully falling tomorrow, though tonight might be a bit sticky.
Can't wait until Wednesday

The short walk home from work at about 4pm felt hard work today (it's only 1km, and flat except the railway bridge). Need to remember to take my sunhat for the walk home tomorrow! (actually, I'll go and put in my bag now)

I've given the children the summer version of a hot water bottle, wet teatowels wrapped around an ice pack in a sandwich bag!

I was running along our prom just after 11 this morning, encouraged by my Aussie niece who's staying with me at the moment.

Middle son sat for hours at Luton airport. About 4 hours late and they announce boarding but then cancel the flight shortly after. Apparently 2 groups of 10 women on his flight (before the cancellation) had a big fight at the gate with some decked on the floor. It's nice to know we can cope with the heat here. He is now on his way back to London after 6 hrs at the airport
