Hope you're soon feeling better IceMaiden, that's what happened to me on Monday, took until today tp rejoin the living!
I'm hoping to get out for a short run tomorrow, but might just run and not bother too much about HR for a change!

Back from my recovery run after this weeks illness. the numbers are: 2.65 miles in 29:01 Avg pace 10:58/mi Avg hr 157(77%)
Didn't bother looking at garmin, just ran and enjoyed it. Actual pace during the run was around 10:30, but with dodging dustbins and having to keep stopping to cross the road it pushed the avg up rather.
Back to HRM training properly after NYE race, think I'm going to reset my RHR back to 48- or take it again next week as that is making my life more difficult with training and I need my confidence boosting again after the recent setbacks.

6 miler today. Averaged 70% for each mile, but my pace was at 8.06min/mile, which is way quicker than I have seen before. I had quite a few sections where I got to 75%+ dispite my efforts to keep below 70% (bit of an undulating route, that's my excuse.:-)), which may explain it. Definitely getting quicker though, which is good.
Running a nice flat route round Draycote tomorrow, so it will be interesting to see how that pans out.

Still on the sick list, not ate anything worth talking about since Friday, drunk gallons of Ribena and not been out of the house since Friday, only managed to walk to the bathroom. And lost 6lbs so far! I think I'm canning running til New Year.
Happy Christmas to everyone.

Still can't keep my HR below 72% since I started again. My doctor said that my HR will be raised because I take thyroxine so I don't know where I stand now.

Presumably your resting heart rate will have risen too Rebel? Might be worth having a check on that and adjusting 70% rate accordingly.
