Little Nemo - slow-but-steady
I'm sort of back on track. Finally managed to restart them on Tuesday and although I didn't do them yesterday I did get up early this morning to catch up. It wasn't too bad actually so if I could just persuade myself to get up 15 mins earlier every morning...

Hope everyone else is doing better than me!!! :-)

Finally I can say yes, yes I am! Full week or exercises, culminating in my first session with the roller last night. Which hurt ;-)

Well done HB! Foam rollering will get easy but I found it took a few weeks of painful rollering before everything stretched out.

Good luck :-)

Thanks :-)

How often do you use the roller?

I try to do a few minutes every day. Once you get used to the pain it's also good to stop on any place that's more painful thean the rest to give it an extra stretch ;-)

I got new exercises on Monday and have been doing them 2 or 3 times a day (they don't take long). I also dug my roller out ... ouch, didn't realise I was that tight!

Little Nemo - slow-but-steady
Another "new" start for me!

I'm now doing my physio in the mornings before I go to work as I was just not doing them most evenings. I have to get up a bit earlier but it forces me to do them otherwise I have wasted the sleep I'm missing. It helps that the number of exercises has reduced so I can do them in 10-15 mins now. Haven't been able to foam roller for a while though as I have done my shoulder in :-(

I'm going OK with these, and the ankle is miles better. The leg taking much longer though so no decision can be made re: spring marathon :-(
