Lol Caterpillar! Did my swim - just a small one. And spiky ball, stretches and powerplate for massage of problem areas. :-)G

It's one of my regular remedial exercises I need to do kwala. It's to massage the glute where I'm getting some kind of piriformis tightness. :-)G

PenW
Not done mine for a few days, but did my pilates class tonight which counts as it works on problem areas the physio would approve of and is run by one of the physios at the clinic :-) Focus on spine and shoulder mobility tonight and some exercises were on foam rollers which always make them tougher! Must get back to the at home exercises this week...

Similar PenW - I did Pilates last night and some stretches before, so think that counts, after a week away snowboarding where I neglected all the good exercises and just had a blast. Thu or Fri will be my next visit to gym and some exercises again. :-)G

Glad you enjoyed your hols HappyG :)
I've kept up the cycling but slacked off on the stretching and foam rollering and it shows - knee puffy, poppy and grindy last couple of days. Fizz session yesterday - got a mini telling off, back to daily regime - it works you know!!

I was going to start a "I must do Ice and Elevation for my niggle" thread, but then thought this one would do. So, resurrecting!

My injury is soleus (I think). Pain in inside lower left leg where calf muscle reaches shin. Varies from quite intense, sharp pain to dull ache. Can sometimes feel it to touch, feel it on a run and sometimes just standing or walking. When I first experienced it, it was sore enough that I thought it might be a stress fracture. But a bit of rest, some icing and foam roller on the muscle and it's down from 4/10 to 2/10, so really not a big prob. But to stop it turning into a proper injury I need to remember to ice and elevate. (I'm doing plenty of stretch and foam roller at gym, but ice and elevate I need to do at home in evenings and I keep forgetting).

So, please remind me to Ice and Elevate. Thanks! :-) G
