The above exercises look good but maybe a bit advanced for me, 60s wall sits are too hard.

It might not be specific to your query but having rehabbed Runner's Knee recently I found Kofuzi's take very useful (I have since pulled a calf, that's a different story ~rolls eyes~).

I've been doing exercises from this routine two or three times a week and it's made a big difference:

Being a little older than you, I would suggest the greatest care when using videos created by young-ish people. I saw a physio for runner's knee a couple of months ago; she had no issue with my belief that squats and lunges were doing more harm than good (which is why I had dropped them). She prescribed massage of the quads and an exercise I won't attempt to describe. It has helped greatly.
