Anecdotally, I've heard of plenty of people having no (or close-to-no) side effects. I've also hard of many having no ill effects from 1st shot and getting floored by the 2nd, or vice versa. I've not heard of many people suffering after both though.
For myself, I felt a bit-off-but-no-big-deal after my 1st, then after my second had two really unpleasant days of fever/headache/general unwellness - but nowhere near as bad as I was for about 4 weeks in April last year when I had covid. I hear reports that the vaccine has helped some folks with long covid - sadly, I'm not among them. I'm still getting out of breath putting my socks on.

24 hours post-jab and aside from feeling decidedly out of sorts yesterday, all I've ended up with is a very sore arm. Whilst annoying and distracting, I can certainly live with that.
On reflection, the out of sorts feeling last night was more likely down to being somewhere strange and new, with lots of people, for a prolonged period. I don't like crowds and I don't like change.

2ns jab brought forward to Sunday. How exciting!
Hoping as I had a rough day or two after the 1st ill be ok this time. But the extra 2 weeks is perfect as I have my 100k at the end of June so be good to have time to fully recover.
Great news on all these jabs.

+1 to that, geordiegirl. And good luck with the 100k you utter madhead
I went out of my way yesterday to thank the people staffing the centre, all so pleasant, friendly, helpful in what must be a stressful environment. They had one of those terminals at the exit to rate them which they encouraged me to use - after I joked about the tough questions they asked me if I got them right. I said no, so I'll have to come back in a few weeks to resit the test...
Welcome relief for me, but my god they must have hated me at that moment!!

#2 for me this morning. 8:30 scheduled, arrived a few minutes early and was done by 8:33. Remembered to wear a shirt that I could pull up over my shoulder this time rather than the ignominious taking off my shirt that I needed to do last time to give access. I cancelled and rebooked to bring my 2nd forward to fit in better with work etc.
Really well conducted; asked plenty of Qs about my comfort level ref clots etc. A contrast to the surgery version that my better half had last week when she'd had a clot appear on her leg after the first one (though this was Pfizer, so could have been completely coincidental). By all accounts the nurse for my wife was basically still talking about the clot with my wife whilst the needle was going in, no sense of taking a couple of minutes to triage history etc etc.
So that's all of the adults in our house (including an 18yo) fully done, plus both sets of parents.

I was so impressed both times with the organisation at the vaccination centre at Harrogate showground - so easy and professional. Was straight in this morning no waiting at all, and as I'd been driven there by Mr Treacle was allowed to leave straightaway. Can't have taken more than 10 mins beginning to end!
Lots of questions and info this time about blood clots!
Great news about being all done larkim - both adults in our house are done too.

Rather envious of 10m end to end
Day 2 of being a Moderna boy, my arm still aches a little, but nothing like it was yesterday when I had to take a paracetamol and ibuprofen. I think I've gotten off very lightly, and housemate is annoyed that I didn't feel worse
Roll on 2/8 for number 2.

Jab number 1 done, glad it was Pfizer. Although I knew it would have to be as I'm under 40. Let's see how I am tomorrow.
