Over an hour after appointment time, and with a little queue confusion at one point, but I am stabbed up and waiting to be released back into the general population. Moderna jab. Lots of lovely, friendly ladies in the centre, all excellent at ignoring my increasingly manic "humour" the closer I got to the jab site!

Well done for sticking it out. Queueing when you’re already a bit on edge is the worst. Hope no side effects Witt moderna jab - you’re the first person I know to have that one.

Kept myself distracted with texts, chatting on here, etc.
Yup, I'd not heard of anyone getting Moderna. Seems it was due to being 39. Fingers crossed for no or mild side effects

Fragile Do Not Bend
Mr F and I both 2nd jabs done today.
I was slightly worried as I never got a confirmation email or text about the rebooking. This morning I got confirmation that the old appointment was cancelled but nothing about the new one. Thankfully I took a screenshot of the booking page so I had the reference number.

Frag, I got the rebooking text yesterday and had to cancel my 2nd jab and then book another. That worked fine but it took a lot longer for my confirmation text of the booking to come through than the one for cancelling did. I came in the end though. I'm getting jab 2 one week earlier.

Second AZ jab done in supercentre 30 mins drive away. When got there carpark was mayhem and it was queued round the block but many people had arrived early and they called people forward at their allocated timeslot. Only waited 30 mins in all which isn't bad given the clearly 1000s of people going through every day. Fingers crossed no side effects this time - last time was unproductive day trying to work through shivers and aches.

It doesn’t matter now, but it will be interesting to see if my confirmation email/ and text ever arrive. Mr F got his confirmation within seconds of changing his booking (and we both changed ours at the same time) so I guess he got a faster hamster than I did.
