Ours were about 8-10 hours after
I don’t really want jab two. We had covid in December and were bad for a few days after our first jab in March. Some research suggests that the first jab acts like a booster for those with antibodies already, so we probably don’t need it for protection anyway. I just don’t want to feel bad again just when we are finally feeling on the way to fitness again after Covid.

Fragile Do Not Bend
About 12 hours for my husband, none for me.

What I’d like to know is whether people have had the same after-effect experience for both jabs, or different symptoms both times?

Thanks folks. I’m hoping this is the worst of it. Excuse for a long lie but not going to ruin my whole day hopefully.

Both me and OH fine after Pfizer 1, both a little ‘off’ for a few hours after Pfizer 2.

Housemate (with an impaired immune system) was rough a few hours after having the first jab, and the day after having the second jab, both times for about 48 hours, including lethargy, overheating, and generally feeling unwell. On each occasion, after this reaction, he suddenly went back to feeling OK - like a switch being turned off. Pfizer jab for him.

Pfizer 1: I felt a bit undercooked the following day, but not too bad.
Pfizer 2: fever & headaches the 2 following days.

2 was pretty bad, but nothing compared to when I had covid back in March 2020.

That switch being turned off happened to me too. I felt quite rough one minute and completely fine the next. It’s a weird business isn’t it?

It's fascinating doing the data entry in clinic. Yesterday we were giving 2nd dose Pfizer, everyone was asked how they'd been after the first one - replies were very varied (quite a lot of "nothing at all" or just a sore arm).
