Welcome to Fetch Fergus!!!

As you point out they're the top ten overall in the men's and women's events. I suspect their age categories have been amended post race, as because they win the cash prizes (for top ten places) they aren't eligible for an age group prize as well, as outlined on this page greatermanchestermarathon.com

You were looking very easy jda, having a nice chat - as your finish time suggested. I came through around 17:10 looking very pale and like it was going to be a tough day at the office - as my finish time also suggested ;-)

I initially thought OVR was overseas, before I realised it was overall :-)

A lot of age categories had to be fixed post-race. At the time there was only 1 x F35 with a time of 4:41, and loads of F40 vets, while there were lots of M35s and no M40s.

I expect they'll say they outsourced the timing too...

Thanks all, that'd been bugging me all day. I'm on a self-imposed post-marathon recovery period (no running for two or three weeks), so had nothing better to do than fret about what OVR actually meant!

I assume you were in normal running gear HOD, and the runner I spotted in full Joker makeup and outfit was imposter?

I must admit it was hard spotting Fetchies out there who look nothing like their avatars! ;)
