It does, doesn't it, SPR? I suppose my Garmin and my physiology can't tell the difference between what was actually going on in my life and a planned chunk of downtime followed by gradual return to running.

Partly Garmin but also you handling it all well. Re HR on the parkrun, possibly the effect of the heat? Same maybe applies to Night-owl if that's a high for aerobic effect? |

SPR I've looked at a few recent parkruns and though I'm only recently getting back to this running lark properly. About 10 beats higher today. I was breathing quite heavily but not out of breath I couldn't talk |

My status today..... BB - 36 now, down from 100 when I got up! "Your body battery is down points overall since you woke up. Pace yourself to prevent your battery from bottoming out before the end of the day." VO2 max - superior 48 Training status - Productive - High Aerobic Shortage Load - optimal 939 Load looks like this in the Garmin Connect graphics... My "training effect" data looks different. Perhaps that is a difference in the data different model Garmins provide.... Sleep Score - good 83 for 7h 4m "continuous" RHR - 46 Suggested run - base 10:10/mi 1:37:00. Was a bit slower than that so ended up running for longer. |

Haven't checked my status today.... BB - 54 now, down from 85 when I got up. VO2 max - superior 48 Training status - "Productive"* - High Aerobic Shortage Load - optimal 1,043 Sleep Score - good 74 for 6h 29m "shorter than ideal, continuous" RHR - 47 Suggested run - base 10:10/mi 45:00. Not quite that but did about half an hour. And it was warm! *at last! |

Well that didn't stay productive for long! After this morning's run my training status is no longer "productive" just "maintaining" with "High Aerobic Shortage". VO2 max - superior 48 Load - optimal 928 And body battery at 78 now, down from 100 when I got up Sleep Score - excellent 94 for 7h 21m "well-balanced" RHR - 47 Suggested run - "Recovery 11:55/mi 32:00" I opted for a slightly longer run. 😉😁 |
