Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Might be a dumb question but how do I tell the unit whether I’m running or cycling?

Go to 'Setting's' then General, Running or Biking. If you select Running or Biking, you get 'Use this Sport' and the little icon at the bottom of the screen will change. I just use General.

Just what I wanted, I bought one with my Christmas money at lunchtime (from Halfords of all places - £129.97 if you reserve it online), and it's currently charging while I'm sitting here impatiently wanting to play with it. I'm hoping to give it a couple of runs over the weekend. I used to use a Polar RS200SD, but the footpod has died on me, and the battery in the watch is about to go which persuaded me that instead of getting the two bits sorted out I should just take the plunge and buy something I've been wanting for about 18 months now.

If "yes" to those two questions, fire up Internet Explorer and you will see the buttons on the toolbar as in the link here:

flickr.com

With Garmin switched off placed in cradle press teh F-Train button and it will ask if you want to upload to Fetch, click yes and it will fill in the form for you to review, adjust where necessary and submit. :-)

Ian, I'm the same as philbo. I ran the Hollybar installer but no buttons appearing on Internet Explorer :(
