A friend of mine has, after several years of encouragement, joined Fetch. I told him there was a way of downloading all his Garmin history and uploading it to Fetch. That got me thinking about how to access my own Garmin history and I noticed that my device history shows I started using Garmin watches in 2009, (and I think I had a simple Polar watch before this) but my earliest Fetch data is from 2012. If I download my Garmin history, is it possible to edit out everything post 2012, re-zip the data file and upload my early data to Fetch? Has anyone done something similar? |

You could do that in theory, although iirc, the FIT filenames are not especially helpful in determining when the file was made.

Groundhog - do you have any data in the old Garmin Training Center? You could select to export that by month or week. Any more than a month tended to clog the Fetch import as I recall.
