Ah ok. What's the recovery between sets. Presume 2 min between reps?

I do sprints (usually hills) weekly in full training unless I'm doing MD work (and I'd usually do some sprints as warm up there anyway).

Actually that's the other thing I'd advice, hill sprints first before moving to flat ones if you need or want to do them

That hills tip sounds a good idea as being an old fella I just lack the neuromuscular coordination to go flat out on the flat! (Also I have a hip problem.) It was a rather generous 3 mins between reps and 5 mins between sets. One can't edit the Garmin suggested runs.

2 mins is minimum really so that sounds good. Hills reduce the impact as well but mean you still keep the power up and help with form.

Where are you seeing the workouts (and that they are changing)? On the device or in Connect app?

On the device. Once you have a race in you can see the next 7 days from what I can see. It. Comes up in the widget glances.

I get mine on my Epix: Start - scroll to Run - Menu long-press - Training - Workouts - Daily Suggestions. And then you have an adaptive week's worth to scroll through and view. These were accessible to me before I had entered any races in Garmin calendar, but this makes the suggestions more adapted to what is coming up.

I don't think I say more than the current day before I added a race and I had to go through the way you did to see it.

Now that there's a race, it makes sense that it can be viewed via the widget as it like a plan rather than just basic fitness

Yes, I can either see today's through the Calendar glance, or see the week the long way above. Here's Garmin's guide support.garmin.com
