it's easier to set up the pace zones in Training Centre and then download the updated profile to the garmin.

Quick Q I've just bought my 305 and not really used it yet but was thinking today that I can take it on holiday - will it store all my workouts til I get back? Reason for asking is I ran this am and put in on later when we went for a walk (i was just playing with maps & settings) and it just brought up the data from the run & tried to continue with that. thanks

it'll store lots of data. If it runs out of room then you lose the mapping but it keeps basic info. Make sure you take the charger / cradle though. |

gg, if you haven;t downloaded the data (which resets it back to zero), you will need to reset it manually to start a new run. Just hold down the lap key for 3 seconds. the 305 can store several weeks or months worth of data (depending how far/often you run). It will need charging though after a about 12 hrs use, so take the cradle and charger (or laptop) or get one of the mobile USB charging devices. |

Thanks for that, I thought it would be strange not to. I'm assuming I havent downloaded the data - would you be able to point me in the right direction? Thanks again. I'll make sure I have my charger with me. |

you can download the data onto a PC using garmin's training centre or the better Sporttracks software. Your best is probably to look at the Article on here about using the 305 which covers most of the basics, and then ask if yo uhave any further questions. |

Just bought a Garmin Footpod for my 305 but for some reason the 305 doesn't recognise it. Has any one else had this problem and if so, how did you solve it?
