Flanker, the time from the GPS satellites is always in GMT, you have to tell the Garmin the offset you want!

Badger, it's UMT I thought, although effectively the same as GMT I guess.
But that is exactly why I thought initially I had to change time zones when abroad, until 2FF said he didn't have to. Which confused me further as last time I did not when I was in lanzarote. Which I have just realised is cos it is in the same time zone! Doh!

Yes, it's UTC, though as far as time zone goes there is no difference. I used mine in Hungary & Spain a while back and I don't remember it correcting itself. It might be better at guessing which zone it's in when it's in the US though. Never used mine there & don't have the manual to hand either.

Slimboy, I'm no expert BTW but try giving this a go:
Uninstall Sport Tracks just to eliminate this from any problems.
Uninstall the Training Centre Software and reinstall it including the USB drivers, if there is a check box somewhere during the installation routine(can't remember offhand) tick it to make sure the new drivers are installed.
If you still have trouble try plugging the cradle into a different USB port, it may well ask you to wait while it initialises the USB drivers at this point.
