Looking back, I see some people were having trouble with loading a workout to their device. I'm still having the same trouble with courses. I cannot get the course I create on Connect to load to my Edge 1030 or to my Fenix 5. Neither by cable on the PC nor wifi nor by whatever way the phone connects to the Fenix, probably bluetooth. I'm waiting to see if it resolves over the next few days. The Garmin forums are still down by the look of it.

Strangely the app is refusing to show my heart rate today, apart from when I was doing yoga and recorded it as an activity. If I look on the website, it shows the whole day’s data just fine.

Cog, if you're using the Connect website to manage your courses, you can work around that: View the course Click on the three dots next to Send to device and Create PacePro Strategy Download FIT file Then attach your unit to the PC and drop the FIT file into the GarminNewfiles folder. Be warned you probably won't get turn alerts this way, though - the site decides how many coursepoints to add to the FIT file based on the device it's being sent to, and if it doesn't know what you'll be using, it doesn't add any. (There are third party sites that do better...) |

Cog, you can also use RideWithGPS to create courses. Export them as a .tcx (I think that's right) and then add them to /Garmin/NewFiles

I've noticed sleep data seems to initial go across without REM but then that comes across later. So far since Monday all data is going across for me, just takes a bit of time. Can understand courses and the like struggling though (not something I use). I've not tried to send any workouts as expect that would struggle atm. |

Might work on the Edge, not sure, but definitely won't work on the Fenix 5, or anything on the wrist newer than the Fenix 2, they don't handle tcx files. GPX or FIT files are fine. Or you can convert TCX to FIT with the apps in runningbadger.blogspot.com (mine, so I am fairly confident they're legit ) |

Thanks for the advice. I will need to do that for a Sunday ride if it isn't sorted by then.

I joined Runalyze recently and historical data import via Garmin Connect is turned off till Friday which suggests a timeframe for the 'recovery'.

Hi Badger, not sure that is correct. I tried a .fit from RidewithGPS and it didn't work on my FR945, but the .tcx did. Maybe RTG are only formatting for Edge or something weird.
