I didn’t know that strava can detect a duplicate activity.

Grrr, USB device not recognised Haven't connected by USB in ages everything syncs by bluetooth. Looks like on of the pins on the back of the watch has corroded, Anyone know if it's possible to get files off a Fenix wirelessly?

From what I've seen, wired is the only way.

CW, thanks so much for the DC Rainmaker link - I'd been trying for ages without success to connect my Garmin 645 with the USB cable, but hadn't realised I needed to use Android File Transfer - took awhile, but now my runs are on Fetch (and - sssh - The Other Place)

Stu, get a hard eraser and rub it across the pins on the back and see if that helps. You need usb, you can’t do it wirelessly

Oh heck I didn’t know the pins could corrode. I ordered a screen saver for mine and it came with little covers for the pins best dog them out along with the Mac and see if I can work the technology thing.

Think I might have to take the plunge and figure out how to do a manual upload to Fetch

Didn't there used to be a service that could send activities to multiple platforms before Garmin Connect started doing it?

Garmin will be back soon. I'm just manually uploading until they sort it.
