Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I went for the middle of the day swim today. I didn't just have a lane to myself, at one point I had the entire pool to myself! Took advantage of it to do some individual medley. Sadly the sauna wasn't empty so afterwards.

Fantastic, @Sarbear . It's great just having that freedom sometimes isn't it?

Busier than I expected in the pool this morning, but still quieter than the normal morning sessions.

After the excesses of the last few days I didn’t feel like pushing the pace at all so I just had a bit of a Dory session and just kept swimming. 2.7 steady kilometres later I decided that was enough.

I’m not sure but that might be my longest swim of the year.

Lovely Nellers.

I’ve managed last two mornings. Limited opening times and only one hour of full pool lane swimming (with another hour of lane swimming in half the pool with 3 narrow lanes)

2k each morning for me.

Can’t quite believe how much I have swam (and enjoyed it this year) from a base of pretty much zero!!

I’ve been enjoying many short swims, all leisurely paced and only a small amount of meaningful “training” (sculling, since you ask). We’re in Tenerife, as is the sun and a load of warmth :) Swimming in a hotel pool is difficult if you’re trying to train, but as a means of regaining MoJo it’s right up there. We also swam in the ocean, with turtles! 😁😁
