Possibly, GM. Body weirdness can always contribute, of course.
I am finally going in the right direction, 2 lbs off and hopefully a little bit more before Wednesday's SW weigh-in.

Well done, SW. It does get easier - more natural - the longer you can do it, doesn't it.

GM, you are balancing glycogen levels, you’d probably run them down a bit. It’s not fat you’ve put on in a couple of days and it’s fat we’re trying to get off and keep off

Agree with Rosehip GM what I’ve found with dieting is keeping a steady input if food if I’ve had some meals out I’ll go for healthier food for a few days but still keeping calories up. There is a lot of sense in when we stress the body it results in it holding on to food it gets rather than burning it.
The lady who is doing me a training plan talked about this (it’s in my blog) as I’ve been talking to her about the issue I had following my long run last month.
So just keep doing what you normally do and don’t worry about your couple of meals out we have to still live & enjoy the little treats we have. Remember how amazing you’ve done so far x

I know you are all right - it's just frustrating when the scales don't move in the direction we hope. When we were away, I said "I hope I haven't put on 3lb" and then was disappointed with only +1lb. I need to better manage my expectations

It really is GM and very frustrating when you have made so many positive changes and feels like a couple of meals off plan has resulted in a gain. The important thing (I think) is to carry on with your plan and let the process work x

Please can I join? I just need to lose a stone or so (just!!!) but it's proving very stubbornly attached and I could really use a bit of support.
Or surgery.
But this is cheaper and more ethical

Thank you.
I managed to resist the urge to grab a biscuit just now and drank a cup of water instead. YOU did that.
