Accountability Post.

All good yesterday until stopping for a coffee on the way down to Mum’s, gave in to sudden urge for chocolate. My blood glucose didn’t like it.

Will be going out for lunch and trying to be moderate

Accountability Post.

Well, I left most of the bread on my burger at the pub. But ate the chips, and a couple of onion rings. Declined the offer of pudding. But then stopped on my journey home to consume fruit toast in Starbucks, a packet of sour fruits, and I’ve lost count of what I had in the evening at home. But then it’s not every day you accompany your 83-year-old mother to hear what is involved in the open heart surgery she should be having in the next 6 weeks and manage to put one of your sisters’ nose out of joint by your contribution to how we might organise after care between us.

Up 0.8 since Monday, but not stressing too much as I’ve had a nice run and a sensible day of eating today will take care of that.

I think after a day like that, eating sour fruits and fruit toast is entirely allowed Rev.

What Carp said Rev. Hope that your mum’s surgery goes well and that you you manage to work out the after care arrangements.

I’ve been trying to make a start with healthy eating this week. I think part of the problem isn’t so much what I eat, just that I eat too much. I just feel so hungry all the time, though for the last few days I have been forcing myself to eat porridge for breakfast, even though I hate it, and that’s managed to get me through to lunchtime at least.

I really do need to get on top of it though, as while my weight did creep up to 11st last year, I’m sure I wasn’t quite so flabby with it.

I find boiled or scrambled eggs do a good job of filling me up until lunchtime. Or porridge. Other cereals or toast do nothing to fill me up at all!

Fragile Do Not Bend
I’m joining in. I should have taken control of my eating habits ages ago but my head hasn’t been in the right place.

THe other day I was buying trousers because all the ones I had were too tight, including the ones I’d previously bought because all my trousers were too tight.

So I rejoined slimming world today before I could think of reasons not to, and bought a 12week countdown straight off.

I’m a stone less than I was when I joined SW the last time so thankfully I’ve not undone all my previous hard work.

Fragile Do Not Bend
Right now I’m at one of my difficult times of day, I’ve just had a healthy lunch and I’m full (but not stuffed) but I REALLY REALLY want a sweet snack.

Hi Frag :)
I know what you mean about post-lunch sweet cravings.

I did ok last week, and lost 0.6kg which was a surprise. I thought the previous week's loss was mostly water (v hot mara the day before weighing) and would go up a bit this week.
