Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

-3.75lb. Not as much as I expect on this diet but it’s a start.

Nice losses Ladies.

Today is the new start from me - meals out and family birthdays done. Homemade soup for lunch.

I've been more or less on it since gong back to SW on Thursday - struggling a bit as I've been so used to picking between meals (usually crusty bread and thick thick butter, if not crisps and sweets :-o ), so I keep finding myself staring at the contents of the fridge to see what I can eat next! I need to get used to only eating at mealtimes with just the odd SW friendly snack in between again.

Well done GM, Sweetie and kwala :)

0.4kg loss for me which I was surprised at given the awful stuffing I did last week.

Today I had porridge and a digestive biscuit for breakfast and a Subway salad for lunch. So far, so good (except the biscuit).

I've been doing some experimenting with my meds, specifically the one that increases appetite. If I skip a dose the night before a fast day, I can cope fine. If I keep taking it every night, I have an "I'm starving" session later in the day or first thing in the morning.

However, skipping too many doses sets off awful withdrawal effects. I have a consultant appointment on the 27th so I'm hoping that I can start decreasing the dose.

Have spent ages cooking a black bean and mushroom chilli tonight from the 'rhitrition' book. The aim is to not focus too much on being 'on a diet' but more on healthier eating and moving more with the hope of losing the weight by changing my mindset!

I have zero willpower though and will be very glad when the Christmas chocolates have all gone!!!
