I'm not in the right frame of mind but do like to lurk occasionally.

I don't wish to be on the spreadsheet but will lurk again. I need to find a way to curb the need for 'this is rubbish im having a mars bar/ dairymilk/ packet of hobnobs' (or all 3) when work gets hard.

Mrs J! what on earth are you here for? surely you have no flab to fight ?

All welcome, the challenge is as hard whatever the amount of additional lardage :)

I'm lying on an airbed on daughter's floor - drinking prosecco and eating mini poppadoms - don't think that's quite "on plan"

I have to admit a "but you're tiny!" thought but I'm not judging. Welcome :)

This week has been crap. On my two 'fast days' days I've not done ridiculously badly (976 and 675 calories) but on the days in between... :-o

I've just calculated that over five days my average has been just over 2,300 per day but if I stick to 675 tomorrow and 1000 on Sunday it'll average out at about 1800 per day. That would be much better, even if it is higher than I need to lose any weight.

I saw myself in the gym mirror today. I don't have a full length mirror at home so it was a bit of a shock.

I didn't stop eating as if I have been marathon training and the last one I did was spring 2016, I have gained weight and muscle has turned to flab...

Thanks for the welcome, I am hoping that being part of the group will encourage me to get back in shape :-)

ah, yes that was how I regained weight I thought I'd seen the back of.
Hoping that getting closer to marathon training mileage, whether or not I run one - will help shift this belly ......

Sat with a pile of cookery books and a laptop to make a list of meals with where the recipe is so when I’m lacking ideas I have a list to hand.

My problem since going to Oman (in oct 15!!) I’ve forgotten what meals I used to cook and where the recipe is so I’ve got in a rut of making the same old few recipes I know.

I’m also trying to make sure we eat a good balanced diet too and make sure I get good calories to help my running and energy levels.

Hello peeps. Not sure I want to be in the spreadsheet but I will be lurking. Made no overall progress with my weight loss efforts in 2017 so determined to do it this year.
Starts on Monday for me when hopefully I’ll have got rid of this lurgy and won’t be feeling like eating crap all the time.
