T shirt for entering, medal for completing successfully. It’s motivating me nicely at the moment - I can tick over at a maintainable number of miles per week which will keep my fitness going and my weight down, without needing to squeeze in the 50 mile weeks I might do prepping for a marathon or ultra. I’ll be amazed if any of the real races I had planned this year happen. |

It does look good and I'm tempted - but I think it's too expensive for me, even for the push to go out and try to get the miles - probably about twice what I'm likely to manage!

Not really structured but trying to keep a good mileage base so when (if!) we get back to racing I can work off that and get some decent results.

Sigh
To the extent that any of my training is structured, then yes, I'm still doing it. Took me ages to build up to where I am, don't want to slip back.

I was thinking about doing runr.co.uk which a friend is doing with a 150 mile target, but it’s closed already. And there’s the Centurion virtual race - various distance options, and if I thought I could pull off a 100 mile week without breaking myself (and frankly stretching lockdown limits a bit too far for my liking) that would be my best bet for ever getting a 100 mile buckle. |

I'm similar to you PH. The only thing I've done recently is for my Sunday morning run, I've been doing an out and back where the "out" is easy pace (including stopping for snacks!) and then return is my half marathon pace. That's been good. But that's all, otherwise I was just enjoying the weather and getting the mileage base as you say. DocM: not sure I've seen any papers on the performance benefits of family members training ![]() |

As far as structure goes, one speed session a week, rest easy at various distances. Not doing anything particularly long.

Sort of... * hill work one day. * speed work on Saturday when I do ‘fake parkrun’ * a longish run per week. |

I’m not doing speed at this point. At least not formally. Every now and then I might have more of a tempo style run but no intervals for now.
