Even easier to drop it in the recycling at Tescos, Sainsburys or B & Q for me

I think our council do too but so few seem to use it I'm not sure of the procedure. I usually only have a couple of items at a time, running shoes etc., so easier for me to drop it in the bins at Tescos or Sainsbury's

I finally got round to sorting through my t-shirts earlier to see if any could be chucked out. I found a couple of old/faded/tatty ones and several that are a bit too snug(!). I did the same with my sweatshirts and polo shirts and found several of each that no longer fit. They're all now in a bag, destined for the clothes recycling bin.

So not a complete de-clutter - but the surplus ones have been weeded out - and in the process, I found some polo shirts I'd forgotten I had! :)

I didn't have time today - but the next thing on the agenda will be to go through my shirts. There are a load I used to wear for work but given I hardly ever wear shirts these days, there are far too many hanging up in the wardrobe for one man to wear occasionally!

I found that bit quite difficult: getting rid of clothes that I had bought for work. Probably because I'm not very good at clothes shopping.

Yesterday I got rid of lots of little things and took a small bag to the charity shop full of little bits and pieces. It was very satisfying.

Do we think a charity shop will be open on Bank holiday Monday?

Pix - unlikely I think. Our charity shops will be closed, most are staffed by volunteers who can't really be expected to give up their bank holidays too.

".... This month, each of you must get rid of one thing on the first day. On the second, two things. Three items on the third. So forth, and so on. Anything can go! Clothes, furniture, electronics, tools, decorations, etc. Donate, sell, or trash. Whatever you do, each material possession must be out of your house—and out of your life—by midnight each day."
