Yes when I first started this thread I got rid of loads and that wasn't my first decluttering phase. It soon comes back when your backs turned |

Having a read back on what we all have cluttering our lives.... the posts about everything being kept in the garage My husband drives me insane he keeps all kinds of rubbish... but then so does his dad at least we only have a garage and a shed, his dad has a double garage and massive workshop/shed, his uncle is even worse (so there was never any hope for me) I was trying to do a workout in the garage yesterday and the empty box from the ninja has found its way in the fecking garage.... |

Popped into the other chemist today. Closed yesterday this is the one I use if I need something, when not at work . The pharmacist is lovely I went in prepared for a no. But the man said yes. Wow they recycle nearly everything |

I was chatting to my mum yesterday who is sorting out and disposing of my granny’s things. It’s 14y since she died 🙄 She offered me some but seeing as I never knew this stuff existed (glasses and tableware mostly it seems) I really don’t need it! This seems to have been prompted by a visit to the loft after they had solar panels installed. She also mentioned sorting through stuff so there was less for me and my brother to sort in the future. They moved to a larger house about 15y ago, so have never really downsized, but every time I visit I look at all the stuff and think what a job it will be! |

Yeah, another reason for rationalising my house... I may yet die of this cancer and then my sister needs to sort it all. I may as well unburden myself in the process.

... I was trying to do a workout in the garage yesterday and the empty box from the ninja has found its way in the fecking garage.... Reminds me of an episode of the 'House Doctor' GG where they help people de-clutter. They found a box on the top shelf in a spare room with 'Empty Box' written on it. They asked "What's that all about then?" - needless to say the couple they were helping looked at each other and both shrugged their shoulders |

My ex used to keep boxes. In the loft were boxes for kettles, speakers, PCs, crystal glasses etc, many of which we didn’t still possess. It was very satisfying going to the tip
