I've run out of time to sort the new divisions, and I keep running into the quandary of either (a) I have to upset someone by making a choice, or (b) I have to upset someone by applying a simple rule e.g. ranking order.
I will have a think whilst I watch the footie about how I can get that pyramid system in place later today. Bear with.

I still like the idea of two parallel sets of divisions below the top ones. I don’t know if that’s what is being called a pyramid system.
Also four players per division throughout; the completion rate for April suggests that is needed!

Right, sod it - I've made a call on this. I know I'll upset some people, but I *am* trying to do the right thing by everyone.
I've sorted EVERYONE by ranking, and made a super-league of 8 players at the top. This league has three months to complete, so for each player, that's 14 matches, or about 1 per week. At the end of that time, the lowest ranked player will get relegated.
Below that, I've kept everything at 5 players per division.
There is no *immediate* automatic promotion from D2. Instead, you will collect points for your finishing position (5 for 1st, 4 for 2nd etc). At the end of the three months, the D2 player with the most points will get promoted. But you get relegated from D2 in the normal way - so it'd be possible to win one month, then get demoted the next. It's all about consistency.
Below D2, everything is still as it was.
This solution means I am not spending a huge amount of time trying to work it all out. Thank you  Flame away

Brian - have you got a link to your twitch game we can watch?
I think I recognise that Twitch streamer from her photo.
She just seemed to crank the pressure up from what looked like an even position, after you repelled her opening assault.
