Given Surelynot's situation, and a couple of others who are dropping out of the league, I might take this end-of-month as an opportunity to just rebuild the whole table. I will still give promotion badges out to those who have topped their divisions, but I reckon it might be helpful to push up a couple of the low-division high-ranked players. I know that early rankings are sometimes a way off - so I was thinking I'd only do this if the player in question had a decent game history - say 25 games?
Any objections?

I'm second in my division at the minute, and I thought I was going to get a promotion, not sure how my emotions will cope ðŸ˜ðŸ¤£ sou da fine, do I get a badge for second? If I can keep the position that is 😉

I don't do badges but maybe the ability to log race times to 0.00 will compensate
I'd have thought that the sort should happen below say Div 4 where people actually have an issue with rankings.
JCB or I would probably go up from Div 2 this month but wouldn't due to this. bja would lose his place in Div 1 despite playing well enough to keep it. Doesn't feel right to me.
I do wonder whether I can cope with leagues going forward though so might not last much longer so if I'm the only one that feels like that then feel free to ignore me. Wouldn't want to be like the ESL lot shaping the rules then buggering off a couple of days later

If we're thinking of having a re-jig, I think the pyramid structure proposed a few pages back (or a variant thereof) has real merit ... a wider pool of opponents at each tier and a much shorter journey from bottom to top for new people joining.
