As I may have said before, playing the same 2 or 3 tough opponents twice every month gets a bit repetitive, so an enlarged pool of monthly opps would appeal to me & may help freshen up the format. I’ve enjoyed playing in Div 3 even getting mugged by Ricey

I like the idea of a pyramid structure too, but appreciate that might take a while to implement. Perhaps we could have a 2 week hiatus to allow fetch to build something and then run a six or seven week block, going back to monthly from 1 July? That would also allow time for the currently unfinished leagues to catch up?
