Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

In all seriousness I’d be a fan of an enlarged ‘Superleague’ top division of 8-10 members playing each other once with 2 relegated being fed by regional feeder divisions from the pyramid.

As I may have said before, playing the same 2 or 3 tough opponents twice every month gets a bit repetitive, so an enlarged pool of monthly opps would appeal to me & may help freshen up the format.

I’ve enjoyed playing in Div 3 even getting mugged by Ricey

Agree with that. Also, I can do a bunch of games in parallel whereas fitting in two in succession is quite hard. Though others may prefer differently of course.

A structure change might be a bit difficult to realise by tomorrow morning, but I like the idea.

spr, thanks for thinking of me, but I have no issues with being relegated if we rebase on rankings. I like the idea of a pyramid structure too, but appreciate that might take a while to implement. Perhaps we could have a 2 week hiatus to allow fetch to build something and then run a six or seven week block, going back to monthly from 1 July? That would also allow time for the currently unfinished leagues to catch up?

How about we stick with your original proposal for this month (which will require no work at all) and you can get stuck straight into planning a proper re-jig over the next 3-4 weeks so you can take your time over it?

Angus's suggestion sounds good, go with what's ready for May, bigger rejig for June or later.

Is there a breakaway superleague in the offing?

Thanks for reminding me to ask why the leagues aren't updated at 00:01 tomorrow Fetch.
