We are lucky we can avoid school holidays and live on the coast so tend to stay local or nip over to Europe (when we can) during holidays. Also depends what sort of break you want - we are members of caravan and camping club (just rejoined for this year) but only use smaller sites if we can help it. We saved our membership on one booking. For our first trip we just stayed localish but now will travel anywhere. Not sure where you are based.

We're quite lucky locally actually. Places like the Moray coast, Cairngorms, east coast are all accessible if restrictions say to keep to our own area.

If that goes ahead and there's no further specific advice, I'd take that as meaning we could go and camp in our van in a suitable spot. But how far away that could be from home is not clear. We may venture into the next county (ooh) for a night and seek land owners permission to park our van.
