Exciting purchase XB! Can’t wait to get back on the road in our campervan again. In the meantime I think the Easter holidays will see us camping out in her on the drive again!

I’ve booked our habitation check and an oil change for 22nd March, which means I’ll probably bring it home that weekend for a clean and will then obviously take it for a good run to the service centre and back

Looking at an older T5. 190,000 miles is higher than I'd like. Is that outrageous though? Van is £13,000 which is a much better price than I've been seeing.

Our T4 was 260,000 miles when we sold it and still going strong. Depends on service history and how it has been looked after really.

I’ve heard of these engines easily doing more than ¼ million miles (like Mandymoo’s), but as she says the service history is important.

Thanks folks. The advert says "service history" so I'll take a look at that. It's passed the MOT in December with no advisories.
I'm actually quite keen. The difference between the monthly payment for this and other vans that I've been looking at is staggering and it will be paid off in 3 years.
It comes with a host of extras too; Khyam awning with 2 bedroom compartments, spare full calor gas bottle, California self-inflate mattress, 4 bike rack and towbar, new alloys...
It's our first van - it doesn't need to be fancy while we work out how we will use it.
