We're planning to park in the car park for Bla Bheinn, sleeping in the van then climbing the hill first thing tomorrow morning. I hope the weather is as good as it looks on the forecast. Hugs to you @Mandymoo , I hope you have a lovely holiday. A guide once told me Blaven is his go to hill in most weathers. Handy where Skye is concerned 😂 |

Searchforsites is our main one. Park4night good as well especially for wild camping. And campingcarpark is good in France. All of these are apps

Echo what others have said; Search for Sites and Park4Night have served us well in the UK and Europe. Have a great time @Mandymoo and @mrs shanksi, we're off to France on Saturday. |

Sending hugs Mandymoo, it will be so hard for you without Marvin but I hope you manage to have a good break and you don't have the worry about him as I know he was poorly recently. Glad you made it safely albeit rather damp. That is a lovely looking taster pic @RunningRonnie and while it does appear to be a bigger MoHo you will have so much comfort in it that it will be a luxury to drive & travel. We had a huge MoHo when we travelled around Australia and I know our little Vinnie will be a tad basic but hoping we manage it. |

Slowly working out how things work and wondering about taking the van out either this weekend or next. I have both the above apps and also on a few groups on Facebook uk pub stopovers Campervan free stopovers One for north east as that’s where I’m likely to go for the time being. |

If you want a 'proper' site in UK then Ukcampsite seems to have the fullest listing and in an emergency if something falls through you can book sites direct on pitchup I follow the CAMpRA facebook pages - the one with rally in it's title has maps of all the uk CAMPRA aires - they are all on searchforsites, but sometimes new ones take a while to go on there is also the campervanbible map, can't remember if I paid for access to that or mot. |

Just decided to had off to Cornwall for the weekend and booked a place, as the weather looks reasonable. We’re in Devon and it’s a couple of hours or so to where we’ve booked near Saint Ives. No plans although we’ve a couple of friends nearby so we’re just enquiring if they’re around. And there’s a parkrun I’ve not yet done, which I’ll tick off.
