Glad to hear she was a bit better cackleberry, Ellie is the same and doesn’t always enjoy travelling in the car for boating weekends she normally settles after 1/2-3/4hr. Hoping to get out in Vinnie on Friday for a local night. 3rd time lucky!

NatureScot car parks are usually a good shout, as they have toilets and allow overnight stays. Muir of Dinnet/Burn o Vat and Creag Meagaidh as two examples. |

I’ve stayed in the burn o vat one a couple of times. It was really busy last time.

I fell through a cornice in a whiteout on Creag Meagaidh 30 odd years ago. Not camping related, but the name still sends shivers down my spine

The forestry ones? They are great, but there is still the toilet issue.
