Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I hesitate to say one combination of letters in Welsh makes sense but another doesn't, but I think that must be “Yr Wyddfa” 😀

While perusing the forums rather than just my watch list I spotted this thread. We are looking to get a campervan in the near future. We have a boat now I think there’s room in our lives for both so kind of looking at what’s about and I’d happily sell my car for it.

But it’s knowing what to go for if we’re planning travelling Europe when we retire we’re thinking something bigger? But I do love the VW but also don’t have a big budget esp if it’s a pre boat purchase. I suppose we could get a small one now then when boat goes upgrade?

Interesting reading back about having a tent too to move things out while parked up.

My suggestion would be to hire before you buy. We have a 7m Moho which is great for ‘living’ in, but can be a nuisance to drive / park. However, I think a VW would be just too small for ‘living’. You could also go to the caravan and motorhome show at the nec in October for some inspiration.
