Tommy - what’s a PVC?

You sound a bit like Dr S while I was working on persuading her that this would be a good purchase. First overnight in it and she was hooked.

(And it was a new conversion but less than two-thirds of what you’ve been quoted.)

TommyK - mine was simply cheap and spares are available. I can also still use it as a lug shit around van.

Synge, a PVC is a Panel Van Conversion.

On the outside, our van (a Boxer) is, pretty much, just as Peugeot built it.

Tommy, I have to say I'm now losing track of your question and, if this wasn't Fetch, I'd think you were trolling VW owners.

So, you've got a Peugeot Boxer conversion and I was on the wrong track thinking you needed to be persuaded of the benefits of campervans. My mistake for not knowing what PVC stood for!

So, some people choose a Peugeot, some a VW. Some choose a bigger vehicle, some a smaller one. Some like to or are able to do their own conversions, some choose to have a specialist company do it. Everyone has a budget and prioritises how they spend their money. Which part of this is difficult to understand?

Personally, I couldn't confidently wire interior lighting or replace a water pump, so that also informed my choice.

We did look at the Autosleeper Symbol (on a Boxer base), which I m guessing is the same size as yours, but couldn't work out where we would park it home or away, so that ruled it out. I'm not knocking your choice of vehicle, it just wasn't right for me.
