Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Angus,

Its not wrapped, it was hand painted by a pro graffiti artist.

The Bongo is an excellent smallish camper. A double bed in the roof that I can sleep in at 6'3", and a double in the seating area, fridge cooker cupboards.

We use ours all over Europe, despite being 23 years old, but we do use a side awning with two bedrooms in it for any stay longer than about 2 nights.

Theres loads of spares for them, and a great forum that has tons of techie stuff for those practical types. (ie not me!)

They don't really lose money if you maintain them with a bit of TLC. I have noticed the petrol ones are starting togo for silly money now, but for now we're happy with our diesel one.

Mine was lovely and shiny until today. A full day parked at Honister slate mine and it's covered in thick grey dust 😔

Please don't take this as a dig at anyone's choice of vehicle, it really isn't, but can someone explain to me the attraction of VW Transporter campervans?

We've just spent a week on a campsite in Arisaig and, across the week, there was a vast number of VW's turned up. As the site wasn't opening their facilities, all, bar one, set up a toilet tent. Then invariably, they'd set up an awning at least as big as the van itself.

I could, perhaps, understand the attraction of a classic, but, a substantial portion were 19 and 20 plates and they must have cost well north of £60K. We bought a full facility PVC AND a car for less.

We've poked around a few at shows over the years and, it seems to me, that's its style over substance.

Please, what am I missing? Or is it "if I have to ask, I won't understand"?
