Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

We are looking at going away next weekend in Camper. Am slightly nervous about it but trying to find a rural site - a break away would be so good

Burrowhayes Farm - very civilised and they’ve really thought about social distancing. Alternate pitches only, one way systems in washblock, sanitisers everywhere. All very reassuring and they’re taking it all seriously. You could probably achieve the same effect wild camping, but we’re still new to all this! 😀

Total nightmare. Never thought I’d get to a point of not wanting to talk about it, but after weeks of discussions (wide-ranging because we wouldn’t want to be impulsive..)...

We've got bloody nowhere.

Talk has ranged from motor-homes to (believe it or not) park homes and has passed through camping vans and caravans on the way. I’m not even going to mention roof-mounted safari tents.

Motorhome over camper - garage at the back to store bikes, rather than have them on display on the rear. We’re in the Peaks in ours right now 😊

I always liked that "garage underneath, bed over the top" concept but I (used to) thought I wanted a smallish van (like a VW or similar).

Such a trouble we’re having trying to make our minds up what we really want.
