Anyone who has any views or advice about diesel engines (and anyone who has experienced VW's dreaded orange engine management warning light) might be interested in my latest blog (which really is too long to post here) and might even have some sound advice for me (polite and sympathetic answers only, please!).

Ally-C Aug 2022 5:06pm, 17 Aug 2022 2,305 posts	0 Ally-C I hired one a few years ago & the engine management light came on. The company asked if it had lost power, I said no. They said it had been looked at several times by VW & they couldn’t find why the light was coming on. It drove fine for the rest of the holiday.

But the possible link to the AdBlue warning light problems we also had made us realise there could be some seriously problematic issues going on.

They were touring around in a camper van. I forgot to ask whether they were Fetchies; I was dressed as a motorcyclist rather than as a runner. Anyone from round these parts?
