Big_G Aug 2022 7:19am, 11 Aug 2022 1,881 posts	0 Big_G Off to Isle of Wight tomorrow for 3 nights. It’s been about 13 years I think since I was over there, in what seems like a different life now! Rather than a campervan, at that time I went over in a Caterham with a load of other Caterham owners (from memory, about 80 cars went over), staying at a holiday park in quite basic accommodation, but had a great time. I sold the car in 2014, but I’ve good memories. I had it about 6 years and I sold it for only about £2000 or so less than what I built it for, as they hold their value incredibly well (or at least they did at the time, no idea if it’s still the case). But we are looking forward to going over in the van and as I’m 6ft3, the van is a lot easier to get into and also easier to drive! Not quite as quick though… We’ve been away in the van about 50 nights so far in 2022 plus a lot of day trips from home, and the Caterham didn’t get that much use, which is partly why it had to go.

Really well laid out live in vehicle field, but sadly festival a shadow of its former self, with everything pretty crammed together whereas before it was laid out in separate areas and lovely to explore
