That sounds an ideal weekend Mrs S. That’s the kinda things we’d use a campervan for rather than a long holiday.

Curious what is used for TV in Vans; are there good 12v options out there? Currently have a standard 240v set although that is only any use when on hook up which diminishes off grid usage. Clearly a good argument for not having a telly, as if you do, why bother going out anyway, may as well stay at home? I like the flexibility and independence of having the comforts wherever it suits to be. Probably more of a puzzle to me is the aerial solution - I thought the domes were the best, then I hear they do not work that well??

We tried lots of different set ups in the van and ended up with a tablet. We tend not too watch too much but when we brought the wobblebox there was a 12volt/230volt TV in it. Seems to work OK most places.

We download stuff onto a tablet. It means we can watch wherever we want.
