We were in Warwick, Stratford and visited Kenilworth Castle GM!

I take it your CL site didn’t have electric for that?
We found the racecourse campsite was lovely and quiet although it was almost fully booked and so handy for Parkrun.

There’s a brilliant carpark at the leisure centre in Stratford with spaces for Motor homes!

There’s no EHU, Jelly but we’ve got a solar panel and want to try it out to see how long we can manage off grid. We are here for 3 nights then move to a site with more facilities. Handy to know about the other options here though, thanks 😃

Safe Journey, Gobi

Drove the van ‘around the block’ , nomissue it’s straightforward enough - though I won’t be attempting any Lake District passes any time soon!
Parked in the designated spot on the new driveway instead of where is was and found two problems
The pavers need re-laying properly in a couple of spots as the heavy van has dislodged them *sighs*
Overnight the van had left a teeny tiny oil spot. Wriggling underneath it looks like the sump plug has a very minor leak. Will phone Brownhills tomorrow and see what they say about that *sighs again*

Leaving visible oil overnight is not what you want! Hopefully just a case of not tightening up enough after an oil change 🤞👍
Once its 'fixed' well worth leaving cardboard underneath to verify no new oil drops.

Leaving miniscule oil is not a major issue so long as oil levels are checked often, just not what you want with a new van 🙄
Be all good once you get it sorted 🙂🙂

If you fancy being a detective Rosehip, you could wriggle under your van and clean the engine sump and see if the oil is tracking from higher up the block... the sump plug by it's very nature is the lowest point, so oil leaking from above will often drop from the plug and of course have nothing directly to do with the plug 🤔

I did, Boffin - there’s nothing obvious higher up - on the other hand it’s only added a couple of tiny drips to the takeaway tub I put on underneath, so wodering if it was a spillage
Told Brownhills sales person this morning when she phoned ‘curtesy call, checking all is OK’. Service were supposed to call me back ….

Nice that they called you to see how you are enjoying your van 🙂 Pity service didn't call you back today - I expect they will soon 👍
If they don't, I expect you will be calling them😂
