Lol. I like DEATH and witches. I've just finished Small gods and am looking forward to Lords and Ladies (witches) next.

Death and his grand daughter, Susan, are definitely in my top five characters.
Have you made it to the City Watch yet? Vimes is also top five.
Granny Weatherwax and Vetinari are the other two up there.

I can't decide on my favourite characters. Although I have to say, my favourite books are the ones with DEATH in!

DEATH and witches are favourites.
Currently re-reading moving pictures and remembering why I've not reread it before. Just not enjoying it.

Guards and other Ankh Morepork based books for me - I like the satire and social comment Nightwatch is my favourite book, but you need to have read the earlier guards books to get the most enjoyment from the younger versions of characters you are familiar with.

I’m back up to The Shepherd’s Crown again… such a bittersweet book for so many reasons.
I’ll block read them next by ‘theme’ eg witches, guards, Tiffany Aching, Moist etc; but after doing them all twice there’s a couple I might not read again next time… yet. My other pile of books needs looking at too 😀

Lords and Ladies took just a couple of days to read, as we were away in grotty weather with no TV and it was so easy to sink into
Men at Arms is begun.

Captain Samuel Vines and his “Boots” theory of socio-economic unfairness is spot on.

The boots theory is great, isn’t it?
