Lots of in jokes (I mean, you would have to have read all 5 books and some wiki history to get all of the references), lots of recap as Linds said, and then the actual story was very confused (whereas the original was actually quite a good yarn, as well as having hilarious, individual lines and scenes and concepts.) John Lloyd's voice as the book can't possibly be as good as Peter Jones. Marvin's voice / character seemed all wrong. But I did have a couple of proper LOL and snort moments. I'll listen again, certainly. Stephen Hawking as Book 2 was a great geek-out, but can't be sustained for long dialogue I don't think. Anyhoo, fun to have it back. G
