Not sure I've read that one. Have read many of the others. All the Ms , multiple times, I'm afraid. Probably half a dozen of the non sci-fi. Might not rush to read Canal Dreams then! Wasp Factory was great, but love Steep Approach to Garbadale, Crow Road, The Business, Complicity etc. :-) G

There's quite a few of the non-M ones I haven't read, but apart from Steep Approach to Garbadale I've read the ones HG lists there.

I really liked Complicity. I did like The Business too but speaking of ones with a lesser reputation, is that not also a less favoured one?

I saw the play of TWF. At the West Yorkshire Playhouse. It was good.

And also depressed that it's 40 years. I *think* I've read Canal Dreams but I'm not sure.

Got something to say?
